Hello jebeynon,

First I want to start out by letting you know that .pub files are
really only used by Microsoft Publisher. Other applications that open
files of this type are not officially supported and might not convert
your files perfectly. If you have access to a computer with a .pub
file, it should be possible to save the file with a different
extension, and then open it with another application (RTF or rich text
format is an example).

It appears that Microsoft Word will import Publisher files, but you
have to make sure that the proper converters are installed. Another
application that should be able to open up .pub files is Adobe
Pagemaker with "the current version of PageMaker can import Publisher
2000 files (though not Publisher 98 files."

You can download a 30 day free trial of Adobe Pagemaker at this URL:

The converter for files created in 95 and 97 Publisher is available
here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=374

So basically the two products that I found that might be able to open
up your .pub are Microsoft Word and Adobe Pagemaker. If you have
access to Microsoft Publisher somewhere, you should save the file to
an rtf format and then you can open it up with Wordpad or any other
word processing document.

Hopefully this information will be useful to you. If you need any
clarifications, let me know and I will do my best to further assist
you.
