Hi altitudetm:

I could not find any laser diodes with part numbers starting with
MFE4080. However, Honeywell makes laser diodes with part numbers
starting with HFE4080. Are you sure your part has an "M" instead of an
"H"?

Do either of these two look like your diode?

Neither of these diodes seems to be available for sale over the
internet at this time - so I'm having difficulty finding the "market
value". Are you still interested in that information? If so, can you
tell me which country you are in and I will try to locate a dealer and
ask for prices.
