Have you already found out whether the land is registered with the Land Registry?

It is not so I take it it has not been sold in the last 25years, I t
has a runied house and pill box and is the corner plot which the road
intersects, some temporary heavy duty road work like a logging road
has been built within the last 6 months, and not used.

Do you have an address for the property, or even an address for
adjacent properties? This isn't clear from the map.

I have found out using oldmaps.co.uk that the cottage used to be
called, rock cottage, looking out to ball rock, I am not worried about
planning I just need to find out who owns it, neighbours have no idea.

what might well yield results is if you knew the names of anyone who
might have owned it since 1925, might the neighbours know of someone
who lived there long aog?

Greetings! I did not locate the information you seek but I did find
an article titled "The scandal of hand-outs to landowners" at
http://www.landandliberty.net/scandal.html that I believe will be of
interest to you. Good luck in your quest.

If you're worried about the temporary road and what it could mean,
have you contacted the local planning committee and/or planning
officer? A query about planning permission might throw some light on
the situation. You should be able to get your local councillor
interested if it seems that some kind of development is in the offing.
