I need to find the main consumers of polyolefin resins (the stuff you
make plastics out of) in China, by area.

For background, the important resins are polyethylene, polypropylene,
polystyrene, PET and PET. The resin turns into plastic products via
molding (injection, blow, compression, etc), extrusion (blown-film,
filament, profile, pipe, etc), and other processes.

We are looking either for 1) resin consumption figures by region, 2)
lists of companies that consume resin (with volume or $ figures) so we
can sum these up to consumption figures by region.

Good luck!

Hello ionyad-ga
China questions are usually very difficult questions :-)
I take it when you say 'consumers' you mean the companies in China
that make the plastic pellets for injection / blow / extrusion
moulding machines etc. from the resins?

Good question lot-ga. The resin itself is produced/shipped in the
form of pellets. So we're looking for the businesses that consume
pellets (or demand numbers for resin by area). --Ion
