According to How to Avoid Partially Hydrogenated Fats by Diana Mirkin at http://www.drmirkin.com/nutrition/N185.html "The only way to cut back or eliminate partially hydrogenated fats (the source of trans fats) from your diet is to read the label of virtually every processed food you buy." At the URL above, Diana Mirkin provides a list of the types of food which almost always contain partially hydrogenated fats, a list of those often made with them, and a list of foods which definitely do not contain them. I place this as a comment rather than an answer, since I think it is not really possible to supply you with the answer you are seeking. tehuti GA Researcher |

You can find this information for yourself by looking on the Nutrition Info box on the side of most foods. If all of the fats are unsaturated, then they are fully hydrogenated. If there are monounsaturated and/or polyunsaturated, then the fats/oils are partially hydrogenated or not hydrogenated at all. |
