Dear richard101,
According to my research so far, G. Delmas was the name of an
important publishing house in Bordeaux, which existed at least as
early as 1904. Do you want information on the founder of the company
and when and how it was founded?

Dear richard101,
I have done very extensive research, but everything I did led to dead
ends only. I know now that G. Delmas was a publisher and printshop in
Bordeaux, France. The were definitely active at least between 1908 and
1951. In those years, they published many books on all topics, like a
major publisher would do. They are mentioned as "Imprimerie G.
Delmas", "Imprimerie Centrale G. Delmas", "G. Delmas, Bordeaux",
"Editions Delmas" (not to be confused with a publishing house in Paris
which exists today), etc. They have also published artprints of
various kinds. But I have not been able to find out details on when
and by whom the company was founded or why and when it ceased to
exist. Even studying the French bibliographic encyclopedias in the
library did not help.
I am sorry that my research is not useful for you.
Best regards,
