http://www.bestplaces.net/ permits side-by-side comparison of cities on a variety of factors including real estate taxes under the catergory "housing." http://www.homefair.com/ a site of the National Association of Realtors. Homefair "city reports" include real estate tax rates. You will need to register and answer several quesitons to access the data. http://www.monstermoving.com/Find_a_Place/Compare2Cities/index.asp allows you to compare cities .. factors include annual property taxes. http://cgi.money.cnn.com/tools/citysearch/citysearch_bplive.html CNN Money Citysearch Metro Guide will provide a statistical snapshot of a city including property tax rates. MSN Compare Cities http://houseandhome.msn.com/pickaplace/comparecities.aspx?FromState=WA&EarningFromCity=50000&FromCity=Seattle provides the same sort of comparisons including property taxes You can also find property tax rates for many states and/or cities by entering the name of the city and/or state and "property tax" rates in the Google search bar. Search strategies: "property tax" compare; "property tax" rates; compare cities If you have questions about this response or require additional information, please post a Request for Clarification before rating this answer.
