Imre Pogany was a Hungarian violinist. He was a member of the Budapest
String Quartet from 1921-27. He was born July 14,1893 & died
August,1975 in Miami,FL. I need his place of birth(presumably Hungary)

Imre Pogany was born in Budapest (p. 37) and died on August 25, 1975,
(pp. 62-63).

Incidentally, if you haven't already done so, you might want to look
into reading this book. Its focus is more on the Russian members, but
it looks well researched, and if you're interested in the Budapest
quartet, it might be a good source.
