I have a Website that I have been running for a year with Dreamweaver.
Something new is happening that I can't explain.
When modifying a page, I can save the change thru the normal "Save As"
procedure. But then, when I try to get out of the page,or close down,
I get a message that say "Do you want to save page before closing"
Yes/No/Cancel. If I say No, the page reverts back to what it was
before the modification. If I say Yes, I get a message that says
"Dreamweaver has caused a problem and will be shut down" This is a
Microsoft message, because it asks whether I want to send them
information. (I am running XP)
I reinstalled the program, thinking that it had become corrupted. This
did NOT eliminate the problem.
Has anybody experienced this, and if so, what was the final outcome?
My system is a 2 gig Intel with 512 RAM.

you could be out of hard disk space, or the file you are trying to
modify could possibly be set to read only.

You can try saving it in another name and then renaming it afterwards.
