Malcolm A. McLean was an early Chicago sports writer, who was an
original member of the Baseball Writers Association of America(1908).
He had died as of Dec.,1938. He was born in Indiana around 1888. The
1920 census lists his age as 42 and his profession as a sports editor
of a newspaper. He had worked for the Chicago Record-Herald.
