Recently i asked a question regrarding a friends driver licence. This
friend of mine has been living in FL for the past 10 years. Could you
please tell me what they need to bring when they try to re-new there
licence. Or would they be refused it. Currently they hold a FL valid
drivers licence. Could you advice me on this matter. Thanks.

Is your friend a US citizen or an immigrant? The Florida DMV has
different requirements for US citizens versus immigrants.

Hi jingles33,

Everything you need to know about renewing a Florida Driver's License
is right here on this page:

Obtaining Your Florida Driver's License or Identification Card
http://www.hsmv.state.fl.us/ddl/faqkeys.html#USC

Since I don't know if your friend is a citizen of the US or not, it
will be up to you to read the right section of the page. All of the
details regarding what your friend needs to bring and where he/she
needs to go to renew, are spelled out very clearly.

Just click on the link that says: "Renewals, Duplicates or
Replacements" under the appropriate citizenship section heading. You
won't have any trouble understanding the instructions from there.

Thanks for your question.

Hi again,

I just noticed that the link I gave you, starts you down the page a
ways. When you get there, just scroll UP and it will take you to the
table of contents. Sorry about that.
