I need information on a smoking tobacco tin can made by Fleming-Halls Tobacco Company., Inc. which was in located in New York. Description: The can is two inches by two inches by two and 1/2 inches square. It was made in Factory No. T100 First District of New York. Front of can: Fleming-Hall's Antique "Ye Old Tyme" Mixture There is a cartoon like picture of a man sitting in front of a fireplace with a long smoking tobacco pipe. There are two pots hanging above the fireplace. The words on the fron bottom say Mild and Mellow. In between the words is a shield with the words F and H. The words Fleming-Hall Tobacco.,Inc New York, N.Y. follow. Back of can: The logo on the back of the can has a shield with the words F and H on it. Top of can: Same logo as front of can. The IRS label which was on the side of the can as a seal is a dark greenish-blue with the following words on it: Act of Feb.23.1926 U.S. Inter Rev. One and one quarter Bureau of Engraving and printing Is this a rare collectible item? Or common? Rough price range? Thanks, Darhoz. |
