Greetings montofri,

According to a few USENET articles I found that referenced the same
process you have in your question, the problem you are having is
related to the drivers for the HP DeskJet printer that you have
installed. The "DJStatusWnd" is a process that is called up after you
print something or could possibly be autoloading as a part of a driver
monitor that is installed with the printer driver set. Some others
have experienced the same problem as you with the process becoming
"hung" when trying to shutdown Windows ME. The only recommended fix to
this problem is to obtain the newest set of print drivers for your
printer from HP's website and see if it corrects the issue. You could
also try contacting HP support if your printer is still under warranty
and see if they have a solution for you. If for some reason you no
longer have a HP Deskjet printer, make sure you unistall any HP
Deskjet software that may still be installed on your system.

Other than those two options, you could try completely removing the HP
Deskjet printer driver suite, then installing the DRIVER only using
the manual ADD PRINTER method (rather than running SETUP from the
print drivers). This may prevent the process that is hanging from
being loaded on your system with the driver suite.

Please find links below for the sites I've mentioned in this answer.

I hope this helps to answer your question. Please don't hesitate to
"Ask for Clarification" if I can be of any further assistance on this
question. Thanks!

Sincerely,
PWizard
