Hi,

Adobe Premiere 6 is very good for editing. It does have a learning
curve but it is flexible and works well provided the computer is set
up properly.

Here you will find a comparision of various features. You should be
able to select a software that has the specific features you require.

The DVD Cookbook On Line - contains information and resources about
the DVD authoring processes:

Some companies bundle video capture cards with software. Matrox is a
good example, it bundles the RT.X10 video capture card with Adobe
Premiere 6 software.

For video editing, unless you are a die-hard Mac user, do yourself a
BIG favor and get Vegas Video. I just spent the last 4 weeks doing
intensive due dilligence on this. Do a Google search yourself and
read the reviews. It is a stronger package than any of the others AND
easier to use. It does not burn to DVD but you can add this on
easily. Good luck.
