I am aware of several online resources that allow for a user to submit just a vehicles License Plate number to obtain the name and address of the vehicle's owner. For Example: https://www.bestpeoplesearch.com/service/18/search.asp Provides "All Information on File From DMV Pertaining to the Vehicle, Registered Owner and Lien Holder" --- Now here's the question: All of the services I have been able to find charge at least $50 for the name/address of the plate's owner. And that's $50 / car. The Goal: Please try to locate an online service that can provide the name and mailing address of a vehicle's owner just from the vehicle's plate number. The service should be able tp process "batch requests" - i.e. can provide the contact and ownership in for for 100+ license plates - at a cost of no more that $1 / license plate. (Hopefully, even less!) Good luck! | |

Personally, I know of no such LEGAL source for the information you seek at the price range you suggested. Being in law enforcement myself, and as a certified user of the National Crime Information Center computer network, I can tell you that there are SERIOUS legal implications associated with the unauthorized distribution of license plate information that will likely prevent you from obtaining this information in the manner you desire from sources other than those you mentioned. There are a couple of companies that can provide this information, however there are a several considerations before they will. Some states are fairly open with their info, others will only provide if you have a legitimate reason to do so, and others will not provide at all. It all depends on the state you are interested in and the reason you need the information. I am a private investigator in Oregon and use DMV databases regularly. The least expensive sources I have found charge between $5 and $7 per request and you have to jump through a number of hoops to become their customer. Best of Luck GZ |
