Dear marv2133,
I have, alas, bad news for you. But I will give you the results of my
research step-by-step.
First: I have found out about the artist. His correct name is actually
Peter V. Bianchi (the "V" stands for Vieri). Despite the different
middle initial, I have no doubt at all that this Peter Bianchi is
identical with the one your question refers to. I am so sure about
this because I found him mentioned as creator of a drawing of St.
Mary, "Our Lady of Emmitsburg", after the descriptions of one Gianna
Talone Sullivan who claims to have experienced an appearance of St.
Mary. It would be far too much coincidence if a second Peter Bianchi
had drawn a picture of the Virgin Mary under circumstances so similar.
So my conclusion is: This artist Peter V. Bianchi is the one you are
looking for.
But, and that is the sad part of my results: Peter V. Bianchi, a very
reputed artist who has inter alia been working for National
Geographic, is not among the living anymore. I found his obituary, he
passed away January 3, 2001, at the age of 80. So I can't,
unfortunately, provide you any contact information for him anymore.
But since you are looking for indices for the value of one of his
works, I have done additional research to provide you an approximate
idea of what Bianchi's original drawings are worth:
At Art Sellers, a Peter Bianchi drawing "Wolves Sniffing Carrion" is
offered for $2950.00:

An early 1950s' oil painting by Bianchi, "Hobo Calendar Art", has been
sold at MastroNet for $330.00:

I did, to my own displeasure, not find any more references to the
prices Bianchi's works can reach on the art market. But they seem to
be of notable value, with the drawings more appreciated than the
paintings.
I am very sorry I had to bring you the dissapointing news of Peter
Bianchi's death. But I hope, the knowledge that the works of this
distinguished artist are indeed valuable, is at least a certain
compensation for it.
