It has long been rumored in the family, that Gustaf DeLaval The Man of
High Speeds, and well known Swedish inventor, was my biological
great-grandfather? I have been trying to confirm this by trying to
find out as much as I can about his personal life. I have been able to
find out quit a bit about his achievements but little about his
personal history. The part of his personal history of most importance
is when my grandfather was conceived, May or June of 1884. His whole
life is also of interest to me to see if he was the type of man who
would abandoned his child. Question is, where can I get information or
a book about the personal life of Carl Patrick Gustaf DeLaval 1845 to
1915 hopefully in English, but if in a book I could have it translated.

The time period of most interest is May and June of 1874 I incorrectly
stated 84 in the question, and cannot figure out how to edit it out.
Jackburton-ga Thanks a lot for your effort, but the information was
about his technical achievements, I have all ready read all that
information. The information I am looking for is a biology or
something about his personal life. ----- Charles75-ga

My main concern is the time period of his personal life from the
spring of 1874 till spring of 1875. When I first started this
investigation I E-mailed a friend to help me with the small amount of
information I had at the time. He posted it right next to the DeLaval
site. http://www.geocities.com/jmdaerospace/engines/delaval.html
under my grandmothers maiden name Rundquist. Within weeks the site was
removed from the WWW. Anyone who can tell me who removed this site,
and why it was removed? I have another twenty dollars for. That is
$20.00 USA. Clarification is my main goal here is to prove or disprove
the long standing family rummer of the DeLaval connection. It has now
been about 125 years since my grandfathers birth. It is about time we
find out who his father was? His father would have been proud of him.
In his to short life according to my grandmother he invented the
Electric Iron and the Hair Clippers for the Chicago Flexible Shaft
Company. Later to become Sunbeam Corp.

Here are four websites I already have stating some of DeLaval's
achievements.
http://www.geocities.com/jmdaerospace/engines/delaval.html
The next one refers to his nozzles which are in use in present day
rockets. You will have to scroll down about half way through Goddard's
site, under DeLaval's nozzles

No luck here...
I found what I assume is your post on the Ancestry Message
Boards site, and did a search for the name of your
grandfather, but only found one feasible reference to the name,
noting that the man was born 1882 and died July 03, 1922:
