meryl...

Go to this page and download 'SpyBot'v1.1
courtesy of Patrick M. Kolla, of Germany:
http://pages.infinit.net/carbo1/spyware.html

Patrick is known for agressively updating his
software to handle the very latest infiltrators,
and will continue to do so.

It's about the middle of the page. Look for the
link to the ,exe file. And while you're there,
have a look at some of the other programs which
have tackled the problem of various kinds of
spyware and security issues.

If you're thrilled with the results, and want to
make a donation to the author of the program, the
referring page for SpyBot is here, and you can donate
as little as $5 at the top of the page:
http://security.kolla.de/index.php?lang=en&page=download

If you want to share your good results and gratitude,
or ask about difficulties you experience when running
the program, Patrick runs a bulletin board for SpyBot
on net-integration.net:
http://www.net-integration.net/cgi-bin/forums/ikonboard.cgi

Please do not rate this answer until you are satisfied that
the answer cannot be improved upon by means of a dialog with
the researcher through the "Request for Clarification" process.
