I need research on the best way to liquidate a furniture store for best return on the dollar. The store has been open for about a year and a half, is close to breaking even, but cash flow is getting extremely tight. I realize that the answer can in no way tell me what to do in my particular circumstances, but I would like to see some statistics for the following scenarios: Sell the business as a going concern Try to sell off inventory to a broker or another company Have a public auction Have a going-out-of business sale, either on my own or through a promotional company If you think of other scenarios, besides these four, don't hesitate to add to them. |
