softk56 modem you have: there are a number of models.  These include:

SoftK56 Data Fax PCI Modem

SoftK56 Data Fax Voice SpeakerPhone

SoftK56 Data Fax Voice SpeakerPhone HandSet PCI Modem

As you can see, the abilities of your modem depend on what model you
have.  Do you have any more information (serial number, model, type,
etc) to help locate this information (and drivers, if necessary)?
