Dear riross2,
You requested information about making 50 copies of three photos.
I believe there are two possible cases you should consider if you
have the negatives for these photos, making copies is a trivial
matter. You could order the copies from any local film developer or
drugstore simply by submitting the negative for reproduction and
ordering 50 copies. You could also order photos over the Web by using
an online film processing vendor such as Photoworks
http://www.photoworks.com/Info/Pricing.aspx?Country=US#P3
(this link will drop you directly into Photoworks price list)
Of course, you could use an Internet based service whether you are in
the US or not.
The following page in the Yahoo! directory will provide you with many
more Internet-based film-processing labs
http://dir.yahoo.com/Business_and_Economy/Shopping_and_Services/Photography/Labs/
Most of these labs will also be able to create the copies you require
from a digital file, if you have one.
However, I think its more likely that if you are asking such a
question you have three photographs but you do not have the negative.
In that case, you first need to identify a vendor that will create a
high quality negative from your photograph.
I have identified one vendor that explicitly details such services
online the vendor is PhotoDepot at
www.photodepot.com
Their price list is at
http://www.photodepot.com/prices/PricesColor.shtml
And the third box on the page provides pricing for photos without
negatives. Send these guys your pictures (suggest sending insured
with tracking through UPS or similar service) and order the High
quality color negative from print. Once you have the negative in
hand, you could order reprints from any of the labs described above
or PhotoDepot could provide you with reprints as part and parcel of
the same order. The second box on the same paged whose link is
provided above includes pricing for color reprints. You could also
order enlargements etc. or really anything else one could imagine
doing with a photograph, since now that you have the negative in hand
there is no limit to the possibilities.
I hope this response adequately addresses your request. Please let me
know if you are in need of additional information concerning this
query.
Thanks,
ragingacademic
