Is there an online/offline service that can perform a better-quality
function than AutoSummarize in MS Word? In other words, I am looking
for service that can give me a high-quality summary for a certain text
materials. This "text-summarization engine" could be a website,
software, or a low-cost manual service.

There is indeed a text or document summarization software that could
automate the task for you. These products are more specialized than
the one inside Word and have more features. I have found the following

I feel however that your best bet for text summarization for
documents, would still be manual or professional writing services.
