On Christmas Eve, between the years of 1967 and 1977, in Cedar Rapids,
IA; I heard a story read on the radio. (I don't know what station).
The story was about a creature called a 'frabbis' who liked to eat
raspberry swirl ice cream. It was a cute/funny 'feel good' kind of
story, kind of like the type Daniel Pinkwater might tell. I want to
know the name of the story, the author, and where I can get a copy of
the story.

Could this be your story? This is Chapter 10, which has several
references to a "frabbis". Check out the other chapters.
