Here's an old review of Norton DiskDoubler Pro, which in some sense (explained in the review) superceded CopyDoubler, DiskDoubler, and AutoDoubler: http://www.atpm.com/2.06/page14.shtml At the bottom of the review are various messages posted by folks with concerns similar to yours. Generally the idea seems to be to try and retrieve the compressed archives using a free utility DDExpand (for which a link is provided; I could try and help you get it, if you don't already know about it). But DDExpand apparently cannot cope with multi-segment archives. It's not evident that anything can be done directly on a PC to decompress your files. regards, mathtalk-ga |
