Sorry,question is exactly as posed on the quiz sheet I have been
given.  Thanks for looking at it.  It is a very horrible quiz set each
year for the Citizen's Advice Bureaus in the UK and we all compete.  I
have seen a couple of other questions on this site so its not just me
struggling!

The suggestion of University Rugby was given me as a hint on a Trivia
Question site where I asked for an "easy" hint.

Thanks for looking.  I have found the answer.  The person who gave me
the tip about University Rugby was wrong and the event was American
Football.  The game took place in Hawaii.  Sorry for the trouble you
went to.

Any idea of the approximate year? Was it between the Japan
Universities and Collegiate All-American sides?
