What organization (or type of organization) is having this campaign
for President?  What are the issues in the campaign?  What positions
are being taken by the candidate writing the letter?  What positions
are being taken by the candidate's opponent(s)?  What kind of support
is being requested -- only votes, or also certain kinds of assistance
in the campaign?  When is the election taking place?

Since there is so much information that would be helpful, I suggest
that you should draft the letter and post it here.  You can put in
every fact that you think would be useful in the letter -- you can
leave out anything (particular names, etc.) that you don't want
publicized at this point.  Then one or more of us can proofread and
edit the letter, and either ask for you further clarification, make a
comment, or answer the question with a re-drafted letter.
