I need to know the last name for a man whose first name Murray. He is
a 3 time Golden Glove (boxing) winner.

Were these national golden gloves or regional?  If regional, do you
know where and what years he won?  I checked the Golden Gloves
national website and nobody named Murray has won from 1930-1999

I don't know anything more than my original question. Please keep in
mind the alternate spellings of 'Murray'

I think you may be thinking of Murray Sutherland, the former Super
Middleweight Champ. I don't think he ever won the Golden Gloves
though.
