most credit card generators these days cannot be used for illicit
purposes due to the fact that nearly every business or website that
accepts credit cards does processing to assure them that the credit
card number you are using is valid, whereas the number generators only
supply *potentially valid* numbers; numbers that a bank *may* issue,
but probably hasn't. As such, these number generators are only useful
for a few specific uses. 1) these generators typically can verify if a
CC# is potentially valid in addition to generating numbers. 2)
subverting "adult check" type gateways, where a website asks for your
credit card number only to see if you are 18+, but "promises" not to
charge anything to the card. In this case, using a generator is a
prudent course of action, since I would not trust my real CC# to such
a website.
Nonetheless, I do agree that providing information on how to obtain
said generator is not within the limits of the google terms of
service. |
