 both by a german author whose name escapes me. Could you assist in
letting me know where these books are available. Both of the above

However, I have found no mention of a book called "100 Years of
Medicine" by the same author, or by any author in a Readers Digest
condensed version.

Since you ask for one book "or/and" the other - will it suffice to
have found the one book? If not, are you absolutely clear on the
title/author of "100 Years of Medicine"? Are there any further details
you remember?
