of contracting influenza in the last 10 flu seasons?

Hello 4Sparky,

For 1999, I located a table that includes the number of U.S. Influenza
Deaths by Age Group. This was published 2001.

For 2000, I located a table which includes death *rates* for influenza
by age group. This was published this year.

The age groups are as follows:
Under 1 year
1-4 years
5-14 years
15-24 years
25-34 years
35-44 years
45-54 years
55-64 years
65-74 years
75-84 years
85 years and over

Would this information interest you?

Thanks
Bobbie7-ga

bobbie7-ga,
Death rate seems like a lousy statistic for something like flu because
I would expect a large discrepancy between the actual number of cases
and the number reported (of which some would die). However, I will
accept your search results as long as the 1999 table of actual flu
death numbers isn't influenza and pneumonia lumped together.
Thanks, 4sparky-ga

(The numbers are not lumped together for influenza and pneumonia)
