Hi Researchers! What I'm looking for is a set of books (that I
believe were referred to as chronicles) that are vampire related... I
thought they were called the "San Germain Chronicles" but haven't
found anything under that name. Perhaps I have it spelled wrong or
something which is very likely.
All I'm looking for for this answer really is the real name of the
books so I can buy them. An amazing answer would be to also tell me
where I could purchase them. Most important detail is that these
books should be vampire related, and I thought that they were classic
vampire books of some sort, the books "every vampire lover should
have".

As a quick Clarification, I will also offer a 3.00 Tip if the
researcher can find a single book (hardback) that has all the stories,
so that I can buy them all at once. I'm not certain that one exists.

Hello March5th00.

The books you are referring to are the Saint-Germain Chronicles by
Chelsea Quinn Yarbro

“Chelsea Quinn Yarbro writes in a variety of fictional genres,
including fantasy, gothic, science fiction, and suspense. In her
best-selling series about the Count de Saint-Germain, however, Yarbro
blends several popular genres successfully to create a unique hybrid.
The Saint-Germain books revolve around an immortal vampire and combine
historical romance, gothic horror, and sheer fantasy. The count is a
tragic figure who, because he is immortal, suffers the agony of
watching those he loves age and die. Each title in the series focuses
on a particular historical period and tells of the count's romantic
adventures during that time. The series began in ancient Rome and has
progressed until the mid-twentieth century.”

Hi

I just saw your clarification request and after speaking to a fellow
researcher perhaps this is what you are looking for:

Anne Rice has written a series of novels about a vampire named Lestat
which are known, collectively as "The Vampire Chronicles."

Here's a collection of all the books in one volume which you may like:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0345385403/qid=1040414804/sr=8-2/ref=sr_8_2/104-3984211-0165541?v=glance&s=books&n=507846

Here are all the Vampire Chronicle Series Booksby Anne Rice

Hello again March,

I did some more research for the compilation you are asking about
without any luck. Perhaps it doesn´t exist.

I hope you enjoy the books.

Best Regards,

If you enjoy well-written vampire novels, don't miss "Fevre Dream," by
George R.R. Martin. It's one of the best. "Fevre Dream" is currently
out of print, but used copies are not hard to find.

Hi,

For comparison shopping, here are some used books search sites. There
seems to be quite a long list of titles, so it is unlikely you will be
able to find them all in one volume. However, often you can save on
postage by ordering multiple titles from one independent bookseller
(something you can't do on Barnes & Noble, Amazon, etc).

http://www.abebooks.com
http://www.tomfolio.com
http://www.bookfinder.com Searches several sites but often doesn't
show all results.
http://used.addall.com/ Also searches several sites but often doesn't
show all results.

Just wanted to thank you PinkFreud for the recommendation, it's much
appreciated! I already ordered the book so I look forward to reading
it soon. Also thank you hummer for taking the time to add your
comments on bargain hunting. It's people like you 2, that take the
time to add small little comments like the ones here, that make this
service remarkable. Thanks again.
