Hi

What Arcsoft product did you get with it (Photo Impression?, Video
Impression? etc?), there might be a "Select source" option in the
program that might have your camera listed and you should be able to
select it as the source, this might help. If this doesn't work, check
that you have all the appropriate drivers for your 1394 (Firewire
card, if you have one) and that it is functioning (it should be if you
can see the video). Make sure you have the latest drivers for the
camera installed.

There is also a breif tutorial here for installing the software etc.

But if that doesn't help then send in what operating system you are
using, which Arcsoft product you got bundled with the camera, how you
go about viewing the video on the camera (ie USB port or firewire
card) and how you are going about trying to save the video at the
moment (ie File ,memu | Save as).

The Arcsoft software is videocapture. It sees the Twain camara
driver. We installed the camara drivers directly from the CD provided
and it's new. The platform is Windows 2000 on a 6-month old Dell
Precision. We attempt to save the video playing by clidking on the
save button on the videoimpression screen.
