In a garden zone 6, what evergreen tree, max height 15-20 ft. is very
hardy, standing up to a lot of wind and heat?  Not hollywood juniper.

"Thuga's" are hardy evergreens that you might consider.

PYGMY GLOBE ARBORVITAE--Thuga occidentalis 'Pygmy Globe'
Bright medium-green in color, grows to 2ft. tall.  Dense and needs no
pruning.


PYRAMIDAL ARBORVITAE--Thuga occidentalis 'Pyramidalis'
A tall, narrow form of arborvitae.  Use for entrance or corner
planting, or as a tall hedge--grows 12-18ft tall.  Broader than 
'Brandon'.
