Dear lizardnation:

You asked for an information provider of flights and reservations for
travels who supply you with a Passenger Record Number of their
reservation. I have found three free solutions for you.

As you may already know, the three major systems airline providers use
are the SABRE (http://www.sabre.com), WorldSpan
(http://www.worldspan.com) and Amadeus (http://www.amadeusuk.com)
systems. I have found websites where it is possible to check the
flight information given the PNR for all of these systems. They are
linked below:

GoTravelTreasures.com has a simple web interface to query flight
information with a SABRE system PNR:
http://www.gotraveltreasures.com/pnr/sabrepnr.htm

Amadeus offers a free flight information website given their PNR at
CheckMyTrip.com:
https://www.checkmytrip.com/xus/us/login.html

WorldSpan offers a similar service at mytripandmore.com:
https://mytripandmore.com/default.asp

I hope these were what you were looking for. If you need any
clarifications, please don't hesitate to ask. I would be more than
happy to assist you further.

Best Regards,
blader-ga

Do these systems cover Galileo as well? Is a PNR enough to qualify a
query for a response?

I checked Viewtrip.com and it does require a last name spelled
correctly to qualify the query, would that be a Galileo requirement of
a this site's addition?

Thank you for the last clear answer.

Dear lizardnation:

You asked if these systems covered the Galileo system, and if a last
name if required for a query.

As you have already found, ViewTrip.com covers the Galileo system.
Sorry I didn't find this for you earlier. The first three websites I
linked to all exclusively service one system, and they all require the
last name. Also, since ViewTrip is operated by Galileo, I think it
would be safe to assume that the Galileo system requires a last name
as well, rather than an addition by the website.

Hope this helps!

The answer was thorough and focused and I sure appreciate that.
Remaining clarification is on the issue of the Galileo system and Last
name verification which I'm assuming will be answered when the
researcher(s) reply with comments on my clarification which awaits a
response.

Dear lizardnation-ga,

As blader-ga pointed out those are some very good resources. I have
one to add to that list and that is Trip.com
(http://www.trip.com/trs/trip/flight_services/fare_grouped_search.xsl)

I have found this website to be very effective in not only doing the
things that you mentioned while keeping a clean and user-friendly
interface.

Dear Blader,

Your answer was very helpful and was worth the amount and I have
covered the Galileo bit and rounded off the issue.

Thank you for the prompt response to my query.
