Hi there!

Our search returned the following results:

This link describes a Premier Vinyl Liner that is claimed as having
the highest quality and durability (20 yr warranty). Comes in assorted
shapes and sizes:

Here is a catalog store offering a wide range vinyl liners with
detailed descroptions of each. Liners come in a variety of sizes,
shapes, and gauges (thickness). Go to:

A Canadian company offering wholesale prices on quality replacement
vinyl liners:
http://www.northwestwholesale.com/pool_liners.asp

This company offers custom-made vinyl liners for irregular-shape
pools, but even if you don't have an irregularly shaped pool it is
worth taking the measurement steps they require for a quote (20 or 27
mm):
http://www.lzarea.org/swimpool/vinylmeasureform.htm

As far as I could tell, there doesn't seem to be a concensus as far as
the "best" pool liner as there aren't any consumer review sites that
look at this type of product. I would suggest, however, that you
consider the thickness and type of vinyl when making a decision (I
believe virgin vinyl is the softest type).

Hope this helps!

There are no hard data, since claimed durabilty doubled over the past
ten years. You should not however limit yourself to vinyl.
BUTYL POND LINERS are more expensive but stronger.

Here is one link on butyl liners:

Look for manufacturers time in business, quality of vinyl (regrind vs.
virgin), thickness of vinyl, and if the liner is a true custom made
unit or "off the shelf" one. There is more. Look at this link:
