out how to tell the reputable ones from the, well, crack-pots. Believe
it or not, there is an organization called the “American Federation of
Astrologers” that boasts more than 3500 members. The AFA helps the
general public to understand the training and specialties that lead to
AFA accreditation through its testing program. This is a way that the
public can avoid being ripped off by the untrained, inexperienced, or
just plain con artists.
Here is a fantastic article that deals with the issue, as well as part
two of your question, which is cost. As an example, the article tells
of a company that offers a “Guide to Your Life,” which starts at birth
and progresses into adulthood. It provides special insights into love,
career, relationships, and how a person feels about him or herself,
all for $35
For $60, they will give you a six-month “Timeline,” a daily prediction
schedule based on the person’s particular sun, moon, and rising signs.
For $21.95, they will provide a “friends compatibility for two
persons.” This helps the people learn how to interpret the actions of
someone else, explains why, for example, they are always at odds, or
perhaps make good soul mates.
For $21.95, they can provide a “romance for two persons.” It will help
you decide on Mr. or Ms. “Right”, decide if this is just a fling or if
it’s the “real deal”
For $15.95 or $23.95, they will do a numerology reading for you for a
period of six months or a year. This is to help determine lucky
numbers, lucky dates, etc, This particular company claims their report
is astoundingly accurate.
Many other reports are also available. Each ranges from 10 to 75 pages
in length. Some provide an overview that encompass only a few days or
weeks while others will tell the entire story of your life from birth
to death.
What is bizarre about all this is that until Friday, I never knew this
existed. Somehow, for reasons I can’t explain, during a conversation
in the office, one of my co-workers revealed that she had just gotten
one of these done. She explained in detail how her 53 page report
described her life with great accuracy. It was so accurate, she said,
that she removed the cover page so no one would know “who” the report
was about and let various family members read it. Every one of them
identified “her” and the subject. Now, I should also say that she DID
NOT use the same company as mentioned in the article but a local
astrologer. However, she was very impressed and recommended that I
have it done personally.

and, according to them at least, you should be ok.
