What kind of equipment does MobileStar (now T-Mobile) use for their wireless access points at Starbucks? I.e. what brand/model of WAP device, and how is this connected to the Internet (DSL)? If they use several different ones, it is sufficient if you can name one solution that's used in a reasonably large number of their stores. |

I don't know about the access points, but every starbucks uses a dedicated T1 line connection to the internet. I could find a couple sources stating this if you would like. |

In my area they all appear to be Cisco Aironet WAPs. |

Further investigation indicates there is one wap per site and the equipment is Cisco 350 series. I have another friend who indicates the WAPs in his area may be Cisco 1100 series but that seems like overkill... -b |
