Hi,

There is an Indian web site http://www.contests2win.com which provides
a number of contests from top consumer goods companies in India. The
site's business model is basically to get these companies to run some
special contest/promotion from the site and make money by charging a
fee to these companies, either on a lump-sum basis or on a Cost Per
Action (CPA) basis. The site already has an existing user base who
visit the site on a regular basis, which makes this business model
pretty profitable for them.

I have 3 questions:

i) Are there any sites in the UK market which do something similar?

ii) Are there any companies in the UK which do something similar with
cell phones - i.e. get users to send a SMS to a particular number,
then provide them with a list of contests for the day and then allow
them to participate in these contests through SMS.

iii) Apart from the UK, are there any companies anywhere else in the
world who are doing something similar either with a web site or
through the cell phone system?

option to sponsor a prize contest/competition; e.g. sites that worked
on affiliate schemes, simply provided links to external competitions,
sites which provided prizes themselves, and lottery cash casino type
