Hello oooo-ga,

Are you interested in information for just adults or for children
also? Are only sites that have the information contained directly on
the website itself acceptable, or would you accept sites that offer
books, videos, literature, etc. as well?

oooo-ga,

After a fair amount of searching, I was unable to find any on-line
sources of "how-to" articles or guides for dressing. However, I did
find this site:

http://www.spinalcord.org/resource/Resources%20By%20Topic/dressing_&_clothing.htm

which gives information on a book entitled
"Dressing Tips and Clothing Resources for Making Life Easier" by:
Shelly Peterman Schwarz
"Author and columnist Shelley Peterman Schwarz knows first-hand the
challenges people with disabilities face finding stylish, easy-to-wear
clothing. She has multiple sclerosis, and for years, gathered tips and
techniques to make life easier and more enjoyable. This essential
primer on dressing covers mail order and internet shopping,
easy-to-make dressing aids, clothing modifications, choosing the right
style, finding clothes that fit and dressing others. An extensive,
up-to-date clothing resources section guides the reader to dozens of
catalog companies that sell attractive, stylish clothing and
accessories appropriate for people with disabilities. Paperback, 140
pgs., 2000."

According to the Book Description at Amazon.com:
"An invaluable resource for people with special dressing needs, people
with disabilities, caregivers and healthcare professionals. Learn
hundreds of tips and techniques to make dressing easier. Learn how to
adapt or modify ready-to-wear garments to accommodate your special
dressing needs. And find out how to locate more than 100 resources
offering specially designed or easy-on/easy-off clothing for men,
women, children and/or wheelchair users. You'll find everything you
need to look your best."
