What options do I have if I own a Pocket PC, a laptop, and a desktop and I want to run outlook on all of them (pocket outlook on the PPC). I want to be able to check my email etc on each of them independently but I would like them all to synch to each other so looking at outlook on my laptop will show the exact same information as any of the others. I would like to know the cost and ease of synching for each option. Price should not be a concern to rule out any option, but hopefully there will be cheaper options as well. I would like to stray away from the answer of just put the pst file in a briefcase folder. I was looking for more of a server type solution (possibly running on the desktop) |

This is in fact what you need is a server solution that will store all the information in central respository. Get MS exchange 2000 since all information is stored on the server and never downloaded to the client. So when you connect, all the information that is updated on your pocket pc will sync with exchange then propigate that information to other clients when you log in from them. Best, LinuxGuy |
