Hi there,

The song is "Love Song For The Dead Che" by a 60's band The United
States of America, and it can be found on their self-titled album.

"At the dawn of an ordinary Sunday
I remember the taste of you, sweet in my mouth,
Late in the year.
And in the stillness of the Oriente rainfall
I remember the warmth of you, still in my arms,
Late, late in the year.
I can bring you flowers in the night
Soft as my trembling fingers touch you - love,
Late in the year.
Late in the year."

This information comes from a single Usenet post which, although it
seems to be very authorative, I have been unable to verify.

CDNow had a snippet of the track before they became part of Amazon,
unfortunately the link no longer works:

At Artist Direct you can preview half of the songs from their album,
but unfortunately not Love Song for the Dead Che:

The song has been covered by Saint Etienne:

eBay have a copy of Round Trip by Phil Woods, which appears to include
a cover of the song:

I was unable to locate any MP3 copies of the track, and the album does
not appear to be available new.
