Hello - The figures below represent the price range for the occupations you listed. The low side of the range is the locally staffed, and the high side is for traveling technicians. $40-$70/hour: X-Ray $45-$70/hour: Cytotechnologist [CT] $50-$77/hour: MRI $55-$80/hour: Ultrasound $60-$80/hour: Nuclear Medicine This information was pulled from actual temporary medical staffing agencies. Since many techs make (on the payroll) $40 per hour, $100 per hour would not be unusual for a temporary highly skilled in several peices of equipment such as catscan, MRI, somograms etc. The pay varies widely from city to city and in rural areas, so an overall average may not be very meaningful. Sorry I can't make even a guess, if you average in not very skilled techs with a bad attitude. Neil |
