I am looking for a list of the ports of call for the USS Arizona prior
(obviously) to her sinking in 1942.
I found it once and am searching again at the request of my father in
law who left the Arizona 8 months before the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Thank you,

I have found a fairly detailed history of the USS Arizona on the Web.
It includes many of the ports -- perhaps even all of the ports -- to
which the Arizona sailed.

The reason why I have not yet posted this web page as an answer is
that I am not certain whether the Arizona had ports of call during
"fleet problems" (large training maneuvers). The web page does not
list ports of call during the Arizona's participation in fleet
problems.

Do you think that the web page I have found would be a sufficient
answer? If so, I would post it as an answer, along with two web pages
that summarize or supplement this information about the Arizona.

Well, here is my first mistake. We had dinner with the gentleman in
question. I really goofed he was not on the Arizona but on the USS
Mississippi! Oy!
Anyway, with your assistance I am looking for a simple list with the
sail dates for all ports of call of the Mississippi from 1940-Dec. of
1941. He is interested as to where the Miss. was moving to and from
after he left the ship.
I am real sorry for my confusion.
Matt
PS: he did tell me that two of his class mates remain aboard the
Arizona.

Hello, Matt135791, sorry I took too long to respond. I had forgotten
about this question for a while, and remembered it only recently. I've
researched on various warship sites, but could find no definite list
of the sailing dates or ports of call. I asked a fellow warship
modeller and he says your best bet would be the National Archives,
where you might find the ship's log. So let me just give you the links
below about BB41.

Sorry I couldn't be of much help. But it was interesting since the
Mississippi was part of the last battleship-to-battleship combat in
history, which happened in my country (the Battle of Surigao Strait).
