Hello there,

I am trying to determine the price range for certain Saint Seiya
action figures
for sale on ebay, for example search on ebay for "Saint Seiya 1988
Siegfried" or "Saint Seiya black"

The ones I am interested in are
Saint Seiya BLACK 1st cloth, produced by Bandai Japan, for Japan circa
1988
in good condition (C9 or C10). The characters are (all black):
Pegasus
Dragon
Phoenix
Andromeda
Swan
Cygnus

Here is a good URL to start researching with
http://www.stseiya.com/character.htm
Thanks!

robt,

As Saint Seiya ("Seitoushi Seiya") is an old Japanese anime, it would
follow that Japanese auction sites would have the most reliable
pricing information. So I researched the Yahoo! Japan auction site,
the most popular auction site in Japan, to get current pricing
information.

Unfortunately, the only auctions for characters with bids that I could
find were the following:

Dragon
http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b29760739
Currently 30,510 yen (about $250)

Pegasus
http://page3.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/c28127542
Currently 20,000 yen (about $160)

Cross
http://page3.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/c28354389
Currently 10,000 yen (about $80)

There are several other auctions for such characters in progress, but
none of them have received any bids as of yet.

If I can fill in any of the holes here I will let you know.

Hi, thankyou for your comment

The Black ones are probably extremely rare, so they will not appear
very easily.

There is actually one on Y!JP for 320,000 ‰~! for a set of five.
http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e18760697

but there is a price difference between JP and US, and I need the
US/Fogeign price range.
I was trying to look on collectors personal pages, and following
previous bids of the auction bidders.
Good luck!
