I am curious if there is an existing website, where users would be
able to "report on" and/or "search a database" of beautiful women who
have been spotted driving their cars in different locations. For
example, if Alfred saw a pretty brunette in Tallahassee, FL, driving a
bright green Volkswagen Beetle with Alabama license plate "HDZ 165",
he could "report" this sighting to the website. Once enough reports
are posted, people would be able to search by geographic location,
license plate, or by make, model, and color of vehicle. The car's
owners could even "come forward" and respond to their "spotters". Does
anything like this exist? I think it could become a VERY popular website (much
like the "Am I Hot Or Not" genre of websites), but I would also have
some concerns about its legality because of potential "stalker"
issues.

If someone can point me to such a site that currently exists, I will
be happy to pay for the requested Google Answer. If your only
response is that "no such site seems to exist", I would not be willing
to remit payment.

The notion of the person's license plate being included in the website
data is not instrumental in the overall point of the Google Question.
The concept is to find a site that allows people to identify other
people they have "spotted" and at the least identifying the make and
color of their car.

There is no answer at this time.

I doubt such a site exists..though not saying it doesn't..due the
legal ramifications involved to the owner of the site if something
should happen to someone who had their license information posted. It
is very easy to determine owner information from a license plate
number..see the Rebecca Schaeffer case..therefore, the liability that
the site owner may (or may not) incur would be extremely high.

I would not hesitate to seek legal advice about the possibility of
taking action against anyone who post my car registration onto a web
site, especially if details of my normal routes were included.

You may want to check out the [missed connections] category on
http://craigslist.org
They don't post license plate numbers, but some of those posts do go
into great details.

I think I speak for most women in saying that I would be appalled and
angry to learn that any sort of identifying information about me had
been posted on a website because someone thought I was attractive.

Being ogled by a stranger is not necessarily a pleasant experience;
being tracked to one's home by a stranger can be terrifying.
