hi there~

a small gif or jpeg of an older version of mishima's spring snow would
be greatly appreciated. it has a picture of the young hero dead and
buried in snow, with only the face showing (not that this had anything
to do with the book, but anyway). did a quick search already on
google 'mishima spring snow' and 'mishima spring snow cover art' and
couldnt come up with it.

the color surrounding the cover painting is kind of lavendary, pinkish
purplish.

thanks so much in advance!

Hello banchan-ga,

I found this one at the Radio Singapore International
website,http://www.rsi.com.sg/en/programmes/write_stuff/2001/08_07.htm,
although it doesn't exactly fit your description.

I know exactly the picture you are talking about -- I have a beat-up
copy of this edition of Spring Snow somewhere on my bookshelf. I am
loathe to scan and post it, because the image is probably still under
copyright, but I believe that edition of the book was relatively
popular. Have you checked your local used book store for an old copy
that you could perhaps scan yourself?

Good luck,
smudgy-ga.
