I'm trying to find somewhere I can buy sheet music for the Skatalites,
especially a song called Eastern Standard Time. Preferably this music
needs to be for the Eb Alto Saxophone and the Bb Trombone. Eastern
Standard Time was composed by Don Drummond and may go under that name
too, although I'm trying to find more than just that one piece.

The genre of the music is ska, if that helps.

All of them, if possible...
But if I'm hard pressed to pick a handful of songs, I'd say Eastern
Standard Time, Guns of Navarone, Swing Easy, Freedom Sound and Phoenix
City.

This is a comment, instead of an answer, since I believe it doesn't
answer your question (however, if it is satisfactory to you, let me
know and I'll post it as an answer):

No listings of sheet music for sale are available in the
"conventional" places (i.e. Amazon.com).

The site http://www.skatalites.com was supposed to provide sheet
music, but the sheet music page brings up to a dead end (as actually
most pages in the site, which doesn't seem to be very active). You
might, however, want to check with the owner of the site, what is the
status of that issue: Ken Stewart mailto:skanken@msn.com

I also found some guitarre sheets. Would you be interested in those?

I have spoken to Ken Stewart already, he provided me with guitar
chords, but unfortunately I only play saxophone and trombone! So I'm
looking for sheet music for those instruments, which are in Eb and Bb
respectively.

This might be a bit of a long shot – but there’s a Ska radio show on
Saturday mornings in Minneapolis called Rude Radio. The DJ also has a
continuing education class on Reggae and Ska. I don’t know that he’s a
musician – but I’ve always been impressed with his knowledge of Ska
music and maybe he can help you out.

The DJ is General Moses – he has a web site:
http://www.physicalentertainment.com/ruderadio/index.html. You can
find his email address there as well. If nothing else you can check
out the show via the Internet next week. As a big Ska fan I enjoyed
researching your question – although not being a musician I wasn’t
able to dig up anything except for this suggestion.

Good luck! DecipherIT
