I need a web site that will sort or produce a list of companies by
their gross margin percentages (public companies of course). I'm
ultimately interested in companies that have low gross margins.
Ideally I would then be able to hyperlink to further finacial data on
the company. Thanks, Chris

Hi,

I couldn't find one so I made one. You can use it by going here :

http://www.webadept.net/nasdaq/index.html

It has all of the NASDAQ stocks, and will run a variety of reports.
The info should be accurate as of yesterday, and there are links for
each of the companies that will take you to the info pages on MSN.

Thanks,

Hi again,

Well first of all it's not static, not much good in that eh? I'm
working on the best date to do a quarterly update of the information,
since I believe that is how often this data changes (gross margin
reports, etc). It is looking like I'll have to do two or three dates
durning the beginning of the quarters.

Second, the NYSE can be added, wasn't planning on it, and really wish
I would have known that's the exchage you wanted, but, no real problem
there. May not happen today, but some time soon. I just got the whole
symbol list and created the index database this morning after reading
your CR, just need to write the perl scripts to fill in the blanks.

Just for my benifit I think I will eventually add a screen where a
visitor could add their own symbols in case the one they are looking
for is not avaialble. But this is a future thing.

Really happy you like it and it is a bennifit to you.

Ok Great-I actually needed both exchanges so the Nasdaq was 1/2 way
there. Please let me know when you add NYSE. Thanks again for the good
work! Please send me info on your firm as well. Thanks, Chris

Hi again,

It is not updated with a NYSE search as well. I'm glad you find it
useful.

I'm not trying to be coy or rude, but this really isn't the forum for
me to be talking about myself or my company. I really am flattered you
are interested, but as you saw with your first comment, exchanging
personal contact information is frowned on. So, being as I really like
being a researcher, I'm going to just stay with your question.

thanks,
