Can you please point me to a web site that sells an Alarm Clock (not a computer program, nor a timer) that allows you to set a different alarm time for each day of the week? | |

numlockusa - You must lead a wild life! I've searched and searched, and you can find alarm clocks with "20 different soothing sounds" and whatever, but the most alarm settings I have come across is three... Good luck! ragingacademic |

I find it hard to believe, but it appears such a thing doesn't exist. I suggest getting the cheapest Palm Pilot instead. However, This guy built one: http://transistor.20m.com/clock.html Someone at Half Bakery has suggested that one should be invented: http://www.halfbakery.com/idea/Weekly_20alarm_20clock This Indian company has a product which might be suitable, but I'm guessing it would be expensive: http://gml-infads.com/e-bell.htm |

Hi, This probably not what you were looking for, but I have a cell phone that has an alarm clock that does that. You can set an alarm for each day of the week, each at another hour, plus you can add another alarm for the following day. It is an Ericsson R600. |

An inexpensive PDA does seem like a reasonable and beneficial solution. Not only do you get a multitude of alarm settings but depending on model, you can customize the alarm with a particular sound. You also get the PDA benefit. Admittedly if you did find a clock that had that many alarms, they might realize the rarity and charge a premium. Something like a Sharper Image kind of product. So, a low cost PDA seems equally reasonable. Or, if you're a PC freak like me =) just put a cheap computer next to your bed. Then you can play MP3s, CDs and check your email. -AI |
