I am a UK resident - Where can I watch the Crystal Palace vs Preston
North End football match live on the television today at home ? I have
Sky Digital but not the sports package and it starts at 3pm UK time
(in one hour). Is it being broadcast on the tv or the web at all, or
is their live radio commentary anywhere ? thanks ....saira

Hello sairaanne,

The only thing I have found so far is the following, please let me
know if you are willing to accept this as an answer (because it is a
fee-based service). Your subscription will be up for 6 or 12 months,
and not just today.

I found a service called Crystal Palace World, "the exciting online
video and audio subscription service. World includes your complete
Matchday experience - the Matchlive Console - with live commentary,
scores and goal flashes from around the country."

"World costs £34.99 for a 12-month subscription, or you can sign up
for 6 months for £19.99"

http://world.cpfc.premiumtv.co.uk/default.asp

This would allow you to get live commentary and later you can use the
Highlights section to see video clips of the show if you have a
broadband connection.

Hello,

If the above solution doesn't work for you, the next best think I can
do is BBC London 94.9fm which is covering various games today:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/london/live/fmg2.ram (need realplayer
http://www.real.com if you do not already have it.)

You will at least be able to get scores etc. if you do not want to
subscribe to the above program. Also the BBC Website live commentary
redirects to the subscription service above.
